Sales Staff required 4 T-shirt vendor @ the Fan Expo Dallas Comic Con (Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center) I am looking to hire another 2-3 more people to assist our Buffalo, NY staff with the sales and operation of our booth at the Dallas Fan Expo during the dates of June 17 to 19, 2022 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center. The new hires will assist with the sales, set-up and breakdown of our booth. Experience in sales is preferred but i will train staff if i find you have excellent communication skills. I require people with the gift of gab, I will teach you how to sell. I also need the applicant to.... -take direction from supervisors, we work as a team. -self-motivated, friendly, with a good mix of people skills -must have the ability to think on their feet with effective communication skills. -simple math is required without the aid of a cellphone calculator. -can work without looking at their cellphone every 5 minutes, your cellphone will be shut off. The applicant will be required to assist customers, keep their station clean and orderly, assist co-workers and help with loss prevention, etc. The job description includes any other task required to run a successful booth within the convention. The pay is $10.00 - $12.50 cash per hour based on your performance at the event. I reward hard work, employees who exceed our expectations are paid more than weaker employees. All employees are required to work the entire event including breakdown. Other benefits include 40% off any merchandise you wish to purchase on the final day of the convention. We ask that you pack a lunch, snacks & water, but a set time to eat will be determined by the crowd. Dress code= A pair of comfortable shoes and appropriate attire (shirt/golf shirt and long/short pants). All applicants will receive an exhibitors pass which will allow you to enjoy the after-hours activities. All new hires will be instructed by e.mail on time, set-up, etc. Any successful hire will be given the first choice at working with our team at all upcoming Texas area events.
