Renovation Contractor – Residential Homes Apollo Construction Group is a real estate investment company operating in multiple markets throughout the southeast. We are currently hiring crews to execute the renovations of single and small multi-family homes in Augusta, GA. We are looking for reliable and professional teams that execute quality work and hit deadlines. It is not required that you have all trades in-house, but a strong subcontractor network is necessary and teams with the ability to efficiently manage multiple concurrent projects are preferred. Experience renovating houses for investors is REQUIRED. Projects will vary: Some will be quick rental type turns and others will be higher level and more involved including: - Adding new electrical locations - Adding new plumbing locations - Removing walls and opening floor plans - Rebuilding kitchens and bathrooms - Adding square footage and building additions Skills Desired: (Not limited to) - All trades related to residential remodeling - Carpentry - Plumbing & Electrical - Insulation - Drywall work - Painting, finishing, and trim work - Tile - Roofing, siding, gutters - Knowledge of HVAC (HVAC certified preferred but not required). - A General Contractor’s license is preferred but not required. - Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines are a MUST - Ability to make good judgement decisions - Ability to operate a safe and clean work environment General Expectations: - Must have significant experience renovating residential homes for investors. - Must have own tools. Tools will not be supplied. - Maintain appearance. The worksite should always be kept in a clean and orderly manner on the outside and inside of the home. - Must be able to meet project deadlines for completion. - Must be able to work independently and make good judgement decisions. - Liability Insurance and Workers Compensation is required for this position. It may be obtained within 30 days of start date. Work Schedule: There is no specific time of the day for which work is done. However, it is recommended that work be done during the day to coincide with the Renovation Managers schedule and the operating hours of vendors that are used. **The work must be completed by the deadline set by the Renovation Manager at contract signing. Work Environment: Inside and Outside work. ** Note this is construction work, therefore the candidate must be able to lift heavy material that could be in excess of 100lbs, stand for extended periods of time, operate equipment, and operate power tools.
