We are looking for a PSW/caregiver for our medically fragile son. We are looking for someone who is reliable, healthy, positive and fun-loving. The hours are typically afternoons from 12-5 (or later depending on your availability) and some weekends. We also have a need for a part-time caregiver that can fill in. Prior experience working with special needs children or adults is preferable but not a requirement. Having your CNA is a definite plus. The hours for this position are provided as part of the State of Oregon's Children's Intensive In-home care program (CIIS). Our son is medically fragile / medically involved, although if you spend time with him, you will see that he is a happy kid that just needs your help with things. Because our son is medically fragile, we need healthy individuals who are rarely sick and can assist in his daily program. The position requires registration with the State of Oregon and a criminal history and background check. I have the paperwork needed to get that process started.
