Growing metro area Property Management company, Mauzy Properties, seeking additional team members to aid with our Rental Property Inspections and assist our Maintenance Team. Valid drivers license, clean driving record and clean background PREFERRED: Live in the Twin Cities area We are looking for dependable people who enjoy coming in to work and wanting to be a part of a rapidly growing company. Experience is a plus, but not necessary. If you are willing to learn, we will train: This is not an inclusive list and there may be items that we ask of you that are not on this list. - Visit homes before new tenants move in and document with pictures the interior and exterior of the home making sure it is ready for the upcoming rental using our Ready-To-Rent Checklist. - Visit the homes for a periodic inspection during the tenancy to see how it is being maintained, making a decision if we need to visit this property more frequently or if the home is being well maintained. - Visit the homes 30 days prior to the move out and looking for damages to we can see if we will need to make any repairs when they move out or informing them what would need to be corrected when they leave to avoid charges to their security deposit. - Install minor safety items such as smoke detectors or carbon-monoxide detectors. - Light cleaning if needed prior to a move in. - Test all keys to ensure they work and make key copies as needed. - Replace smoke and CO detectors, batteries, light bulbs and furnace filters. - Perform routine maintenance such as replacing batteries, bulbs, filters, locks, caulking, etc. - Perform minor adjustments on plumbing, HVAC systems, fixtures and similar items. - Perform remodeling tasks such as painting, flooring, tile, basic carpentry and sheetrock to name a few. - Perform duties in company's Preventative Maintenance program. - Maintain a clean and professional work area while on-site. - Review and report major repairs to our Maintenance Manager for outsourcing. - Assist with rental property transitions. - Perform condition and safety inspections on properties as needed.
