Location Shinnston, WV Division Direct Reconditioning DR-WV-MTNST-MSD-DETMGR #336S Job Scope: This position is responsible for Managing and coordinating vehicles in a high production detailing process. The Detail Shop Manager handles all shop functions including but not limited to: Customer communication, scheduling, payroll, monitors and communicates shift activities, verifies required information and paperwork, ordering products, managing inventories, oversees quality control and ensures proper processes are being followed to meet required customer deadlines. Job Responsibilities: · Employee engagement · Entering payroll and processing billing · Create and instill a sense of urgency in meeting auto Auction deadlines · Assigning employees production placement and monitoring quality and pace of work · Coaching, teaching and mentoring staff members on our high volume detail processes · Counseling and disciplining employees when needed · Review daily production numbers and ensure staff has a clear understanding of work required · Orders products and controls inventories levels by conducting monthly inventory or chemicals and supplies · Maintain physical condition of shop by planning and implementing a regular housekeeping program and inspecting all equipment · Creating a PMI Schedule for the maintenance on shop equipment · Prepare, Issue and follow up on daily production logs daily · Analyze any production problems and produce new solutions for correction · Observe all applicable job-related safety and health procedures · Perform other duties as assigned by Regional Manager Qualifications Minimal of 3-year supervisor experience in high production, reconditioning, lot operations, restaurant, commercial cleaning service or similar fast paced production environment preferably within the automotive industry Strong aptitude for communication and interaction skills Strong aptitude for managing and organizing production schedules Competency in basic computer skills such as MS Office and managing email such as Outlook or Exchange required · Ability to lift 1-30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.). Work Environment: 4-6 Detail Lanes High volume shop - consistent volume of 2,000-2,500 cars per month Moderate noise level. Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear Frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat and climb. Job is primarily performed under shelter. Daily exposure to outdoor weather elements required to manage incoming and exiting of vehicles through production line. Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday.
