Family Owned Truck Repair shop is looking to hire a diesel mechanic with minimum 3 years of experience, honest and reliable, work well with other team members, must supply own mechanics hand tools to maintain our high customer satisfaction rating. Must be able to do: Preventive Maintenance Clutch Replacement Oil Changes A/C Repair Brakes/Turbo Diesel/gas engines,Transmissions Belts/ Hoses / Electrical issues Perform routine maintenance functions and adjustments Responsible for shop cleanliness, safety and compliance Follow instructions from head mechanic Knowledge of basics will be tested upon interview. Must have: Valid Illinois Driver's License, Clean Criminal Record, Pass Drug Test, Must be willing to work Saturdays if required, Must speak fluent English, Experience in general heavy truck repair diesel, A positive work attitude, attention to detail and any certifications are a plus, Reliable transportation to and from our shop.
