Rehoming my 6yo-100lb Brazilian mastiff. I love her dearly, but I'm not able to provide her the life she deserves. My life is full of changes, but she needs stability and routine. She was abused for the first year of her life before i adopted her and she's come a long way, but is still scared by loud noises and falling objects. She would do best as a single dog, in an adult only household (preferably a single female) where she would receive all the love, attention, compassion and structure she deserves. Must have experience with aggressive dog breeds (preferably Brazilian mastiff experience) as she is in full protection temperament and is instinctually adverse to strangers (that is expected from her breed). She loves getting up on the couch to cuddle once she's comfortable. She doesn't like to eat or drink in front of anyone, not even me. She is super low maintenance, indoor only, and does not damage household objects, does not get into garbage, does not chew things she's not supposed to chew. She is a really sweet girl, but takes a bit of time to adjust. You must be very patient and willing to earn her trust (she loves chicken jerky treats and raw carrots, but may not take them from you for a while) She comes with her collar, a t-shirt & sweatshirt (they help her feel secure), deer antler chews, and her special blanket. She's chipped and fully potty and/or crate trained, but i don't have her crate anymore. I would require ability to get updates on how she's doing and pics as requested to be sure she's healthy and happy. $500 rehoming fee to ensure that you're invested in loving her and can provide the life she deserves.
