Post-Punk/Indie/Alternative Collaborators Wanted!

We are currently practicing one night a week on Mondays or Thursdays in-person in Tacoma. Acoustic drum kit available or bring electronic drums if you have them. Rhythm guitar with vox and bassist looking for nice reliable people who play guitar or keys/synth or drums and are excited to collaboratively write and eventually record and perform post-punk music that is dark, minimal, indie, dreamy, riffy, repetitive, and has a pop sensibility. Bands we are inspired by include The Velvet Underground, Galaxie 500, Joy Division, Talking Heads, and Pavement. Maybe you haven’t picked up an instrument in a while and want to get back into it. Maybe you’re a pro in a cover band looking to join something creative that’s low stress. This might be for you. I’ve got band experience as a drummer and lyricist and gigged around Seattle before the lockdown but I’d like to play guitar and do some (not all) the vocals in this project. I enjoy writing guitar parts with lyrics but need creative collaborators to help flesh out song ideas. I’m open to working with your song ideas as well if they make sense with this project.
