I thought I wanted to dine and read in solitude, until you came by. I welcomed your pleasant interruption. We briefly chatted at the bar about my meal. The way your eyes lit up when explaining away morel mushrooms and them being in season (now!) was both endearing and refreshing. Thanks for being my five-minute friend when I thought I wanted to be alone. :)
