TODAY: Need Crew to Help Maintain Flower Memorial on National Mall

We are hiring a crew of a few people to help tidy up and maintain a large display of memorial vases and flowers that have been installed on the northeast grounds of the Washington Monument today, beginning at 4 p.m. for two hours. The display is a memorial of 4,500 vases and artificial flowers and over time, the flowers can be knocked over by wind or just start to lean, so we need help spending some time fixing them. This job requires repeatedly placing flowers and vases into the grass in a grid-like pattern, so this job is really for someone who loves the outdoors, physical jobs, and following directions well to achieve a great result (see the attached picture of one of our previous events) Please do not apply for this job if the physical part of it does not fit well with your abilities - and if you are unable to show up on time due to transportation issues, please also do not apply. The job pays $25/hour with a two hour minimum for today, so if you are able to come out today from 4 to 6, it would pay $50. We have additional windows to do the same work tomorrow at the same time for 2 hours at 4 to 6 again. You will be paid at the end of your shift via a payment app - you MUST have Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or Cash App to work this gig - no exceptions.
