Creative Canvas is a family-owned business that does start to finish design, installation, and manufacturing of many fabric and metal products. We are seeking an Installation Technician to become a part of our team! You will assist with the installation and repair in the world of shade and awnings. This position is full-time. A standard workweek is M-F from 7 am-3:30 pm. The time and hours vary depending on the project load. Responsibilities: -Assist with the installation and repair of awnings, shade sails, pergola covers, patios, restaurant enclosures, and additional custom projects that involve fabric and metal fabrication -Maintain a safe and clean work environment -Perform routine preventative maintenance -Track all equipment and supplies -Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: -Previous experience in construction a plus but not required -Familiarity with maintenance power tools and equipment -Ability to handle physical workload -Ability to work well in teams -Ability to prioritize and multitask -Ladder/ heights work a must -Able to lift up to 50 lbs while on a latter -Can read a tape measure -Willing to work overtime if needed -Valid drivers licenses would be ideal We offer: -Top market compensation -Access to company health and dental insurance -6 paid holidays -Vacation pay -Opportunity for onsite paid training in a growing industry -Bonus potential
