Zerorez of Denver is currently looking for a qualified individual to fill our Part-Time Assistant Mechanic position (possibly full-time for the right candidate). The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail. Our fleet consists of Chevy full-length vans with on-board, CDS carpet cleaning pumps, heaters and vacuum units. You do not need to know all of the technical skills as we can teach you on the job, but some previous mechanical work is helpful.
Pay:
$20 per hour
Key Accountabilities:
Create raving fans, internally and externally
Execute minor repairs communicated to you by the technicians. Review daily work assignments and complete work in a timely and efficient manner. Communicate any repairs you are unable to complete with the Operations Manager, daily
Have an understanding of and execute the preventative maintenance program for the fleet and all related equipment
Complete oil changes/change fluids
Communicate all parts, tools and supplies needed to the Shop assistant and Operations Manager
Maintain a clean and safe workspace. All tools put away and any spills cleaned up at the end of your shift
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a sense of urgency and a need to accomplish the task at hand
Must have a good driving record
Education/Experience:
Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent of a high school diploma
Some mechanical experience
Communication skills:
Must be able to read, write and speak clearly in English
Must communicate in an effective and professional manner with management, service technicians, customers, and peers
