So afraid of rejection

I wish I had the nuts to say hello. I'm so afraid of rejection I mean I'm not bad to look at I take good care of myself I'm in great shape. I'm 45, have two degrees. Now I've had some kind of past to say the least. State of Texas has paid for a couple of my vacations. Lol anyhow I met a woman why didn't we get to meet her I saw a girl at the corner of Woodrow and koenig Lane this evening she even rolled down the window and told me I had a beautiful dog I went so bad to tell her I asked her for her phone number just anything but yet once again I was afraid she was going to turn her nose up at me and make some kind of a smirk and back out the driveway so I kept my mouth shut. Now I know there's a woman out there for me and I know I'm here for a woman that's out there how am I supposed to meet this woman if I'm so afraid of rejection.
