I was a band leader before Covid for 10 years. I am not looking do that. But I have a tempered attitude on issues from experience herding cats. I’m not playing out enough and I’m bored. The group I am with does not rehearse, comes to gigs unprepared, starts, stops and breaks are crap, does not dress for the job or venue and it’s embarrassing. I do not have drinking, drugs. Wife, girlfriend, transportation, gear issues, travel possible. Not looking for a startup unless it feels right. Looking for group that has been together, hangs out, weekly rehearsal or playing out, social media in place. I can cover many vocalists. But there are some I sound horrible doing. Just being honest with you and myself. I’m not going to blow up your skirt and name drop here on who I have played with or opened for. When a lion walks in a room everyone knows it’s a lion. I’m what you’re looking for or I’m not. Send me a partial setlist to get a sense of what the band is into. If it matters, I’m a vaxxed male over 45 with my own wireless PA gear.
