It's with a broken heart that I write this post. I am moving into an apartment and cannot take my sweet dog with me. His name is Shotzy. He is 6 years old. He is a black lab/hound mix. He is a rescue dog. He was born on the streets of Tennessee under an abandoned building. Like I said, he is a sweetheart but he does have some food aggression issues. Once you feed him, you need to just leave it for him and walk away. He can't be around other animals when eating either (same goes for when he's eating treats). He does well around my sisters' two other dogs (they grew up together) but he's super skittish around dogs he doesn't know. He also isn't a huge fan of men at first or men that are consistently around but with time he bonded with my husband really, really well. He'd do amazing with a single female without other pets, or maybe with one other dog provided you can keep them separated during meal times. Looking for an amazing fit for my perfect friend.
