We’re looking for a skilled electrician apprentice to add to our growing team. In this role, you will shadow one of our electricians and help them with their tasks. You will be responsible for reading blueprints, diagnosing electrical problems, and repairing electrical systems. You will also help us to install new electrical systems for our clients. This will involve laying wires, installing fixtures, and assembling various components throughout the system, among other things. This position is ideal for someone who hopes to become an electrician themselves one day. It will help you to develop the necessary skills and knowledge. In order to excel in the role of an electrician apprentice, you should be eager to learn and follow instructions. We’d prefer to hire someone who has good technical skills and a basic familiarity with the role of the electrician. If you think that you would be a good fit for this role, then get in touch. Electrician Apprentice Responsibilities: -Work alongside our electricians and follow their instructions -Help them to diagnose, repair, assemble, and install various electrical components and systems -Interpret electrical blueprints and schematics -Use a variety of tools and techniques to complete electrical tasks -Order electrical parts, maintain work logs, and collaborate with other service workers to complete large projects -Reads, interprets, and executes drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to see layout of commercial electrical equipment installations -Tests electrical and equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance -Installs repairs, or replaces electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic, and line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts -Installs, repairs, or replaces generators and industrial storage batteries -Do preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems (including power distribution equipment) -Installs electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment required to accommodate the CEC and/or NEC -Works on electrical failures and replaces components wherever production time is often affected -Corrects connections and wiring on equipment controls wherever incorrect applications may cause harm and dangerous conditions -Conducts preventive and maintenance programs, and also keeps maintenance records -May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial equipment and connected devices -Complies with standards and procedures of industry, Safety Manual, and abide by safety rules. Electrician Apprentice Requirements: -Familiarity with the work of an electrician -Ability to read blueprints and schematics -Good technical skills and a willingness to follow instruction -Strong analytical ability and willingness to accept and learn from criticism -Valid driver’s license -Must be able to climb ladders Pay flexible- DOE
