Job description Silver Spoons Catering is hiring a Catering Production Cook for our newest location in Denver! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You’d make a great addition to the team if you: Work with a sense of urgency and purpose Are comfortable working with a variety of kitchen equipment Take pride in your work Love leading a strong team and constantly looking for ways to improve Follow and comply with established procedures, recipes, and guides Can maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with all DOH standards BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Communicate proactively with fellow team members throughout all shifts. Ability to communicate, ask for help, and work as part of a larger team. Complete assigned duties by the production manager in accordance with the needs of the business Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment in compliance with all SSC standards. Follow and comply with all established procedures, recipes, and guides, including but not limited to assembly, equipment SOPs, weights and measures, health and sanitation, and general safe work practices. Meet production volume and production schedule while maintaining stringent adherence to quality standards for all SSC products. Track product and assembly information in a daily batch log Participate in product quality assurance through regular tastings, both individual components, and finished goods Monitor proper storage, FIFO, and shelf life guidelines for all products Compliance and adherence to all appropriate health and safety regulations and cleanliness requirements, including food safety and department organization. Work with a sense of urgency and purpose to achieve daily, weekly and long-term goals. Uphold SSC standards for excellent customer service. Be friendly and courteous in all guest interactions. Maintain excellent customer service while leading and participating in customer-facing culinary activations Adhere to all new and existing company policies and standards. Work with flexibility, integrity, and a solution-based mentality Fully understand and exhibit the SSC core values, inspire celebration, and create real magic. Serve as a brand ambassador, both internally and externally. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Catering experience preferred Must have excellent knife skills with the ability to cut quickly and safely. Proper food handling and safety knowledge Ability to read, and understand, verbal directions and written recipes from chefs. Possess a clear understanding of weights and measurements Ability to handle a fast pace work environment and keep a steady pace. Must be able to stay on feet for several hours per shift Must have good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management abilities Job Type: Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour with shared tips
