Seeking a reliable worker and fast learner to carry a route for the US Postal Service, as a contract carrier you will sort letters, magazines, and parcels for a dedicated route, then carry that route in your vehicle. Training is provided, this is a long term job, paid twice a month. A workday consists of about 2.5 hours of office work and about 3.5 hours of route work, this time can be trimmed down as you become proficient. This is a 1099 job with no benefits. Position is 6 days per week, Monday-Saturday. This position pays per workday, regardless of the time it takes to complete your route. Compensation is $120 a day. VEHICLE MUST BE A MINIVAN OR SUV WITH NO CENTER CONSOLE. You are responsible for fueling and maintaining your vehicle. Must be able to pass background check by US Postal Inspection Service Must be able to work on your feet/get in and out of the vehicle frequently Must be able to lift 50lbs
