In honor of the 175th anniversary of Zeeland’s founding, "Zeeland Celebrates 175 Years" highlights who those original settlers’ stories.  For the photography exhibit, the Zeeland Historical Society partnered with de Vries photography to photograph 58 families descended from the original settlers. These families are featured in the main gallery with a description of their story. Throughout the rest of the Dekker Huis Museum, you can see portraits of the original settlers and learn more about their emigration experiences.  This exhibit will be up for the rest of the year. The Dekker Huis Museum is regularly open Wednesday-Friday from 10am-5pm and on Saturday from 10am-3pm. It is free, but a $5 donation is suggested per person.
