The Strategic Reserves are meant to save our ass, if an enemy comes to our shores and starts bombing our oil fields and refineries. The Strategic Reserves are meant for NATIONAL EMERGENCY SITUATIONS, not to try to offset Democrat's failed energy policies. Joe Biden started releasing oil from the reserves months ago, in a lame attempt to lower gasoline prices..... It didn't work. He didn't give up: Joe is STILL releasing oil from the Reserves to this day and plans to keep releasing oil into next Fall. A million barrels every day. It still won't work, and Joe knows it. He doesn't care. All Biden is doing, is WEAKENING our Civil Defense System and National Security. This seems to be perfectly fine with Democrats. ** Here's the biggest slap in the face of all: After the failed Obama presidency, our Strategic Reserves were left in a bad situation. Obama had done the same thing Biden is doing, releasing oil from the Reserves to try to lower Obama's self-created high gas prices. After weakening our Oil Reserves, just as Biden is doing now, Obama left office without bothering to replenish the Strategic Oil Reserves. Donald Trump, after he started producing more American oil and reducing prices, re-filled the Strategic Reserves at about $1.50 per gallon. If Joe Biden ever quits draining our Strategic Reserves and decides to re-fill them, he will be paying about $6.00/gallon to do so, with YOUR tax dollars. Seriously, if you could explain Economics, or National Security to liberals, there would be no liberals.
