Description
We have a very sweet dog that needs rehoming. She is female, and a black lab mix, about four years old. She has allergies and therefore, has patchy fur and is underweight. We've taken her to the vet many times and we just can't afford to give her what she needs.
She is incredibly gentle with people and is very good with children. She's not super playful and is a more chilled out dog. She is good with other dogs, but will show aggression if they get near her food. People, however, can pet her while she eats and take food away from her without a problem. She is fearful of loud sounds, so I don't advise you take her outside while there is thunder or fireworks. She must remain leashed when on walks because she will run away if there are any sudden loud noises (she hates construction sounds). She loves new people and acts like a celebrity any time we take her to the vet. She stretches more than any dog I've ever met.
This is a dog for people who enjoy a project pet. She will take some work and some time to get better, but otherwise, is a fantastic dog.
She is free to nice people. She will come with her crate, a doggie bed, and a collar. We can also provide the papers from the humane society where we got her, and we should be able to find her microchip information for you. Please send an email with your name, number, and address if you are interested.
