Mud Motor Technician: Job Responsibilities: • Work in a team environment with other technicians to complete task assigned by Operations Manager. • Ensure compliance with policy and procedures (R&M, HSE, Quality, HR) • Maintain a safe, clean work space. • Disassembly and Assembly of mud motors. • Utilize proper measuring equipment related to each function of the job. • Maintain complete tool maintenance records as required. • Assist with maintenance of inventory and shop supplies • Paint and stencil mud motors to company standards. • Perform other duties by management. Qualifications: • Previous industry related experience. • Mechanical aptitude is essential. • Cognitive skills to include the ability to learn, to process thoughts and apply knowledge, to analyze and reason, and to evaluate and make appropriate decisions to help achieve business goals, work with co-workers to solve problems and maintain safe practices. • Ability to lift and carry more than 50lbs. • Overtime and on call duty required if the company finds necessary. • Be able to read and understand maintenance manuals, speak and communicate in English language. • Ability to operate torque machine, general maintenance on the torque machine (changing hoses and seals) • Ability to read tape measure, micrometers, and vector gauges. • Ability to safely operate a fork lift Shop Helper: We are also looking to add shop helpers who would like to grow with our team. Primary responsibilities will be to maintain and organize the work areas, help with stocking inventory, pressure washing, preparing shipments, loading/ unloading trucks, painting and stenciling of downhole motors, assist motor technicians in the assembly and disassembly of downhole motor and other duties as assigned. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain mechanical experience with opportunity to grow depending on the individual’s ability to learn. We are a small team so everyone plays a big role. With that said there is not room for excuse makers or people with attendance/punctuality issues.
