Position Summary: The Service Technician will be responsible for repairs, add-ons, checking in/out units, reporting discrepancies to the ser-vice Manager. In addition, the Lot Technician must be semi-familiar with computers, as they will track service, repairs and add-ons in the company's computer system. The Service Technician reports to the Service Manager. Principal Duties as Service Technician • Repairs of trailers • Add-Ons on trailers • Checking in/out units • Reporting discrepancies to the Service Manager Additional Responsibilities · Possess an enthusiastic, energetic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented approach towards work. · Possess excellent human and time management skills. · Possess strong problem-solving and decision-making skills while using good judgment. · Possess strong interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities · High School Diploma or equivalent. · 3+ years of experience working in the trailer, automobile, or affiliated industry. · Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities. · Highly motivated, self-starter who’s flexible and has a great attitude on life. · Excellent communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills. · Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.). · Must have strong servant - leadership qualities.
