Calling all kids ages 7-13!! Join Healthy Little Cooks in our EKCC - Kid Ambassadors summer camp. During this camp, kids will learn about food and nutrition, how to cook healthy recipes, grow your own sprouts, public speaking, and more! The camp will be hosted in our new Food & Wellness Studio, located in Columbia, Maryland At the end of our camp, all kids teach what they learned in their very own cooking demonstration in front of parents and our senior citizen community members on July 21st at 1pm. This camp is partially sponsored by our friends at McCormick Spice, Flavor For Life Program and managed by Healthy Little Cooks. 3 Available Sessions (please register for one session to create space for others) Session #1 June 27th - July 1stHours: 9am - 11am (Monday - Friday)Cost $40 for one week (includes all food and chefs apron)Session #2 July 11th - July 22ndHours: 9am - 11am (Monday - Friday)Cost $40 for one week (includes all food and chefs apron)Session #3 July 11th - July 22ndHours: 9am - 11am (Monday - Friday)Cost $40 for one week (includes all food and chefs apron)Cooking Leadership Project is: July 21st @ 1pm (open to all campers) BEFORE REGISTERING. PLEASE READ: There will be NO REFUNDS.All of our recipes are nut and tree nut free. If food allergies are a concern, please note this on your registration page. All campers are required to participate in a community cooking demonstration to share/show their nutrition knowledge with the senior community (55+). We'll do our best to solidify this date as soon as possible so you can make plans to support your child.Spaces are limited. Please try to attend all sessions. Again, there will be no refunds.Due to our scholarship model, we have a behavior policy. PLEASE TALK WITH YOUR CHILD TO ENSURE THEY ARE READY TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS,WANT TO LEARN, AND SHARE WITH OTHERS - We reserve the right to remove students from camp that are not following safety rules or displaying constant disruptive behavior.
