Description
Hi! My name is Vixen, I'm a gorgeous snugglebug Black Lab/Shepherd mix, and my mom adores me. I'm very smart, and affectionate, and do great with all different kinds of adults and kids. I can chill out by your side for hours, or run side by side with your bike, or walk around the neighborhood with you, and I'm a great traveler too! I never bark without a reason, and I only chew what has been specifically given to me. I saved my mom from two attempted muggings and two different home invasions--I can sound REALLY scary when I think the people I love are in danger. Mom loves me a lot--but she's gotten very sick. She's in a wheelchair most of the time now--and her bones and joints keep dislocating. She keeps getting migraines, and vertigo, and she says I deserve better, and seems very sad that she just can't do the fun things we used to do. She wants to find me a furever home with people who will love me, and play with me, and take me for walks. I love my mom--and I love the Rover sitters she let me play with and stay with on her really bad days. Everyone says I'm a sweetheart. I do have a prey drive, and I'm not a fan of other dogs since I've been attacked by five different off leash dogs since my mom rescued me. I love people, and mom says I'd do well in a single pet household where I get loved on by everybody. I have a bit of separation anxiety since I get so attached to my people, I don't want to be apart from them--but I'm ALWAYS thrilled to see you when you return. Mom's tried her best to take care of me, but she can't anymore. She wants to find someone who can. Maybe that's you? Please message her to meet me, and let's see if we can be a family! Your new best friend, Vixen -------------------------------------------------------------------- Vixen is current on her vaccinations (but will need to have them again soon), her rehoming fee is $75. You will need to meet me and Vixen in person so that everyone can see if you'll be a good fit. I will give Vixen's new family her bed, kibble, toys, harness, leash, treats, and shampoo--everything you need to help her seamlessly transition to being part of your family. It breaks my heart that my condition has deteriorated to the point I can no longer take care of her the way she deserves. More than anything, I want Vixen to be happy and healthy, with a family that loves her as much as I do. Vixen is a phenomenal dog, and has saved my life on several occasions. Giving her up isn't something I want to do--but it's the best thing for my furbaby. She's been the best part of my life, and the time has come for her to brighten someone else's.
