Hi, my name is Karrie. I play guitar! I've never played in a band before, so I'm looking for a group to jam with/make friends with. I use to play at open mics, but the stress was a little too much for me in my early performance career. Made it really hard to practice and enjoy. I think if I found a committed group to practice with and not be alone on stage with, then It might be easier. I also really need feedback so that I can improve. I have written two full songs. Recorded and edited myself. I'm looking to learn and help others learn. I recently figured out how to play some of Need Money by DGD and fcpremix by The Fall of Troy. Really changed things for me. My goal is to learn to play with others and get to a point where I can play on stage again. Influences: At The Drive-in, The Fall of Troy, Winona Forever, The Mars Volta, Dance Gavin Dance, King Gizard & The Lizard Wizard, Death, Jaala, Mangelwurzel, Tennis, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Surf Curse, Polyphia, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Tame Impala, James Brown, Sonic Youth, Wild Nothing, Friends, War paint, Vivian Girls, Beach Fossils, TTNG, Men I Trust, Minus The Bear, Jank, Mac Demarco, Tricot. I've been playing since I was 16. I have experience with DAW software and recording. I have two years of music theory under my belt. I have also taken a semester of singing lessons at Eastman. Must be LGBT friendly.
