Class Schedule: June 11th to June 25th: Self guided trainingJune 26 to July 2nd: In-Person Training SessionsThe Shopbot Training will be comprised of two parts, self-guided learning of VCarve Pro following Vectric's video tutorials with assignments detailed in Google Classroom, and an in person training session of how to use the Shopbot. Vectric's VCarve Pro is the primary software that members will be using. The self-guided training will be at your own pace, but must be completed before in person training on the Shopbot can begin. The self-guided training should be accomplished within two weeks of the start of the class. The in-person training will be opened up to scheduling for the third week when you've completed the assignments. In person Shopbot training will cover: how to prepare the machine for usehow to operate the machine and the dust collection system concepts of work holdinghow to load toolinghow to home and zero the machinehow to load and run a cutting programhow to shutdown the machine In person Shopbot training will be limited to two students per training session. The training session is preliminarily geared to be 3 hours. After successful training, trained members will be added to RFID access to use the Shopbot.
