Banquet Bartender

We are interested in banquet bartenders for at the Oshkosh Convention Center, and the Best Western Premier Oshkosh Hotel. Our experienced team members provide the finest in service and hospitality to guests for conferences, weddings, and private off-site events. As an important member of our team, you will be required to set-up and take down bars, as well as prepare and serve drinks at receptions, dinners, and special events while interacting with guests in a positive, friendly, and efficient manner. To work an occasional shift, your will be paid an hourly rate of $7.50 per hour, plus tips. Tips for most events are a minimum of $15 to $20 per hour (not guaranteed). Call Dan at 920-230-6280. To be a successful member of our team, experience will be helpful but isn't required. The most valuable skill will be a can-do approach and a friendly, outgoing personality! Duties include: • Set up portable bars • Greet and serve guests beverages during weddings and other social events in the conference center • Tear down bars and clean up after the event Qualifications: • A positive attitude and the willingness to anticipate our guests' needs • Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends (Most shifts are Friday and Saturday nights.) • Excellent oral communication and listening skills • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to work quickly and as a team member in a fast paced environment Job requirements: • Must possess the ability to count money and make correct change • Must have the ability to ring in orders on a cash register • Must be able to reach with hands and arms in any direction, kneel, bend and stoop repeatedly • Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time • Ability to follow directions
