With the Supreme Court poised to overturn the 50 year right to an abortion, sitting around doing nothing is not an option anymore. This conservative court will be, if it ends Roe v. Wade as expected, the first court to rescind a significant civil right previously granted. Are you angry? So are we. That fundamental right means often life saving health care for women. Nor is it any coincidence that the most conservative Supreme Court in decades targeted women's rights. We need to act NOW to help low income women pay for travel and the now much more expensive abortion due to the expected end of the right to choice in at least 26 states. During the event we will have two guest speakers. Kate Cee, who is a Massachusetts woman who was forced to travel to Colorado to obtain an abortion and Joyce Schorr, founder of Women's Reproductive Rights Advocacy Project, the non-profit that pays for low income women's abortions and helps arrange travel expenses. 100% of the ticket cost goes to WRRAP. https://wrrap.org.
