Essendant is hiring Full & Part time Warehouse Associates in our Shipping department at our Woburn facility. Shift and start times vary. Positions start at $18.25/hr with a $1.00 or $1.50 shift differential!! Great opportunity for those looking for part time work!! NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!! ALL SCHEDULES ARE MONDAY-FRIDAY (NO WEEKENDS)!!!! Sample schedules include (START TIMES FLEXIBLE)!!: 2:00PM-10:30PM (Shipping Department $18.25 + $1.00 differential) 4:00PM-12:30AM (Shipping Department $18.25 + $1.50 differential) 6:00PM-2:30AM (Shipping Department $18.25 + $1.50 differential) Essential Duties and Responsibilities Inbound freight receiving Full case receiving stocking Customer return processing Product quality inspection and staging. Full case order selecting and replenishment processing Order shipping and truck loading Typically requires the use of Stock Pickers, Reach Trucks, Counter Balance Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Highly dependable individual demonstrating key values including Teamwork, Integrity, Honesty and Accountability. Must be able to tolerate an environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, dust and work around moving equipment. Ability to perform all required tasks within the scope of Distribution 2 to the level of established productivity required and in keeping with applicable Standard Operating Procedures, rules, established processes and Quality guidelines. Ability to operate equipment in a safe and controlled manner, i.e., box erector, tape machine, Taylor Dunn, pallet jack and walkie-rider. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs Ability to follow simple directions (verbal and written) in English. Ability to perform basic math.
