Our team of experts set out to find Long Beach’s best-fried chicken that stands the test of time and your refrigerator. This is where you, the fried chicken aficionados become judge and jury on who will be the 2022 Barrier Island Chicken Champion! You Be The Judge!We will host a live event on Sunday, June 26 at 11 am at Bright Eye Beer Co in Long Beach where you, the Chicken Judges will make their final determination along with our panel of featured experts. As a Chicken Judge, What Will You Base Your Rating On? 🐔 Appearance – Does it still look good cold and one day old? Color? Still look fresh? 🐔 Taste - Obviously, more important than anything else, how does it taste straight outta your fridge the day after? How are the spices? How tasty is the chicken meat? 🐔 Crispiness Factor - Still crispy after spending at least one day in the fridge? That’s the stuff that makes love, not war. 🐔 Juiciness - Still juicy after all this fridge time? As an official Chicken Judge, you will be tasked with giving a 1-5 rating (1 = worst, 5 = best). This mission is to not only help kids and families in need who are ill, but to inspire kids and young adults to give back to those kids in need. We do by having LSNF chapters and partnered student organizations carry out our mission and values of service to others. LSNF has developed many anxiety relief programs that include an emergency department gift bag program, family care package program, hospital toy give-away parties, and wish granting, all centered upon improving the lives of sick kids and their families.
