Come out for Soccer & Service with the Thrivent Member Network - Mid-America Region Saturday, July 9. Bring your family for a free outing at Lynn Family Stadium. Support a local cause by helping us pack 10,000 meals for children in need with Love the Hungry. Schedule: Check-in and ticket pick up - 5:30 - 7 p.m.Meal packing - 5:30 - 7 p.m.Kickoff - 8 p.m.Registration is required to attend. Be sure to invite your family and friends who'd enjoy the outing too! Let's pack 10,000 meals for Love the Hungry The goal of Love the Hungry is to engage volunteers of all ages in a meaningful, hands-on experience where they take action to end hunger. It is local action with global compassion. The nutrient-rich meals packed by volunteers are donated to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO’s) worldwide with an emphasis on reaching the world’s most vulnerable children. You can help us support Love the Hungry's work to end hunger by joining us to pack 10,000 meals before the Lou City FC game. Thrivent will pay for the meals, but we need your hands to fill them. Come for the entire packing event, or pick the half hour that works best for you and your family. Food vouchers for the game will be distributed following packing.
