We have an immediate sales opening for a parts professional interested in inside commercial work. The position requires the individual to demonstrate the ability to grow sales telephonically while consistently improving the relationship between assigned customers and walk in sales customers. Skills/Responsibilities:  Sales experience in the industrial or automotive parts industry is a plus.  Customer Service and parts counter experience.  Ability to apply analytical selling skills to identify sales and growth opportunities.  Able to read and understand technical part catalogs to look up and research parts requested by customers and internal departments.  Proficiency in the use of technology tools, including but not limited to computer software (MS Office,SAP) and online resources.  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills  Send quotes, detailed prices, lead times, and freight charges along with the payment terms  Track submitted quotations and update the quote status.  Ability to close a sale and overcome common objections  Keep customers informed on the status of their orders.  Able to work independently and with minimal supervision  Willingness to work cooperatively across all departments to provide customers with the best possible experience.  Track customer orders with the purchasing department support.  Support warehouse to prepare special orders.  Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.  Knowledge of English and Spanish language structure, content, including the meaning, spelling of words, composition rules, and grammar. Work Experience Requirements • More than four years of experience working in spare parts. • More than four years of experience in external or internal sales. • Familiar with the Power generators industry and competitive products. • Familiar with air compression systems and air tools. • Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups. • General understanding of basic accounting principles. • Knowledge of the principles and processes for providing personal and customer service. Knowledge of the principles and methods for promoting and selling technical products. Education Requirements/Certification/License • An associate degree or equivalent experience is required.
