Join us on Saturday, June 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. for a Celebration for ALL! Weekend Long Festival presented by The Square x Rohi's Readery. Honoring our One Year Anniversary! Home to the country’s first-ever social justice driven children’s bookstore [rohisreadery.com], The Square [thesquarewestpalm.com] in West Palm Beach is hosting a two-day diversity and family celebration on June 18th and 19th, during Father’s Day and Juneteenth weekend. The two-day celebration will be filled with eclectic culinary pop-ups, an array of local Black-owned businesses and non-profit organizations dedicated to youth empowerment and community activism. A sample of the activities include cooking, gardening, storytime, guest speakers, art classes honoring the community’s most cherished diverse talent, writers, and artistic influences; live musical performances; and a pop-up market showcasing local authors all centered around DEIA books. Additionally, a Sunday Summer Sweet Soiree will conclude the weekend festivities spotlighting the community’s leading black-owned confectionery businesses. WHY: This festival has been created to provide opportunities of loving human connection and offer windows and mirrors into learning experiences for our youth and adults.
