Support your favorite local cat shelter and get crafty with us! On Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 2-3:30 p.m. in the Cat Depot Community Center, we will be celebrating National Craft for Your Shelters Day. Attendees at this free workshop will be able to craft several items to benefit the cats and kittens at Cat Depot while they await their forever homes. Activities may include: DIY Cat Houses: Used in all pods at Cat Depot to provide our residents with a uniquely engaging play experience. Houses created will also be featured in upcoming Tik-Toks!Upcycled Cat Scratchers: Used in the kittens pods at Cat Depot to entertain and enrich our youngest residents.Carrier Covers: Used for transporting cats and kittens to their forever homes.Trap Covers: Used as part of our Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) program to alleviate stress, fear, and anxiety while cats are being transported to and from Cat Depot.Following the workshop, attendees are invited to visit the shelter cats and take a behind-the-scenes tour of the Adoption Center.
