Description

Though famed wine-growing regions like Bordeaux, Tuscany, Rioja produce a broad range of our favorite wines, you can find plenty of fantastic options without having to look too far away. When it comes to choosing the best wine regions in the United States, the list is long. Along the West Coast there are many wine regions to explore and it’s hard to choose which of these may be a favorite as each one offers something distinctly different and delicious. A perfect place to start is in California, which represents over 90% of nation's wines produced. Cost: $50.00 per person (includes $25 gift card) Light appitezers accompany this event. Special discounts available for all of the featured products after the event. All reservations can be made on Eventbrite or email us at: [email protected] Honig Vineyard, Sauvignon Blanc, 2021 Winery notes: 97% Sauvignon Blanc, 1.4% Sauvignon Gris, 1.3% Semillon 0.3% Muscat (66% Napa County, 34% Lake County) . The fruit for this wine comes from our sustainably farmed vineyard in Rutherford, as well as other nearby vineyards. Bloodroot, Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast, 2019 The grapes were sourced from vineyards in Green Valley, Occidental and Sebastopol, all of which are planted on Goldridge soil. The maritime climate and sandy soil are evident in the acidity and saline quality of the wine despite the wine’s rich body and nose. Melville, Estate, Santa Rita Hills, Pinot Noir, 2020 The 2020 Pinot Noir Estate has a medium ruby color and scents of dried red cherries and pomegranate with accents of tobacco leaves and prosciutto. The medium-bodied palate is firm and grainy, finishing earthy. Daou, Paso Robles, Cabernet Sauvignon, 2020 A rich and compelling nose of blackberry, cassis, smoky leather and dried herbs is enhanced with layers of plum and cherry, cocoa and sandalwood.
