OSCEOLA COUNTY, FL — Six members from the Haitian Special Olympics team have mysteriously vanished from Kissimmee, the Osceola County Sheriff's Office said. Deputies are now investigating. "We are in communication with Walt Disney World, Special Olympics, and our law enforcement and federal partners. At this time, we believe this is an isolated event and do not suspect foul play," the sheriff's office said in a statement. The men who disappeared are: Antione Mithon, 32; Nicholson Fontilus, 20; Peter Berlus, 19; Anderson Petit-Frere, 18; Steevenson Jacquet, 24; and Oriol Jean, 18. Deputies said the men came to the United States to compete in a soccer competition. Deputies said they were all last seen at 710 S. Victory Way in Kissimmee on Monday around 2:30 p.m. All of them turned in their room keys and left behind their personal bags and belongings. Special Olympics Haiti issued a statement following the disappearance of the six men. "The well-being of these delegates is our foremost concern. Local authorities have indicated they have no reason to believe the health and safety of any of the individuals is at risk. To expand the reach and effectiveness of law enforcement's efforts to locate these individuals, they have been reported as missing persons," a portion of the statement reads. Special Olympics organizers told WKMG-TV that five of the men are not Special Olympics athletes, and one is an adult with an intellectual disability. Photos of the missing Haitian men:
