Press release from the Town of Milton: June 7, 2022 MILTON - The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) will be conducting overnight operations to complete milling and final paving work in East Milton Square and adjacent roads, Adams Street, Granite Avenue, Bryant Avenue, Boulevard Street. Motorists can expect delays on the roads around these areas while work is in progress during overnight hours between 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. The work is scheduled as follows: Wednesday, June 8, and Thursday, June 9 milling operations will occur overnight hours between 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.Monday, June 13, and Tuesday, June 14, paving operations will occur overnight hours between 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.Tuesday, June 14, through Saturday, June 18, daytime prep work, including casting adjustments, will occur from 7:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.The week of June 20 through June 24, final repaving and paving markings will occur overnight hours between 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Drivers who are traveling through this area should expect delays, reduced speeds, and to use caution throughout the duration of this final work. All scheduled work is weather dependent and/or may be impacted due to other unforeseen circumstances or emergency.
