This Veteran Outreach Luncheon is hosted by the Madison County, IL Veterans' Assistance Commission (VAC) at the Harry G. Seaton American Legion Post 435 in Glen Carbon, IL. Veterans, spouses, widows, other family members, caregivers, friends, 1st responders and social service professionals and organizations are invited. Lunch is available for those who RSVP. Please arrive at 11:00 a.m. for the outreach and socialization hour. Lunch will be served at 12:00 p.m. No carry-outs. Ice cream dessert provided by Veteran Small Owned Business (VSOB) Blue Ice Creamery in East Alton, IL. Please visit and support our local VSOB's. The Madison County, IL Veterans' Assistance Commission (VAC) will provide a high-level overview of the various primary and secondary services offered by the VAC. This is also a good time to come and hang out as well as support a local Veteran Service Organization. The VAC will have available staff on-site to answer questions and to set-up appointments as needed for additional more in-depth assistance.
