Here’s the latest: Fri 9/16 900a Pickleball with Todd Rosenthal Sat 9/17 tba Golf Outing Sun 9/18 12n Belgian Fest at Stephens Park Friday will be hosted by Raz at the Wunder Y! Saturday will be hosted by Pam at the Viking Club! Fri Sat & Sunday are open for anyone to plan other events- golf, pool party, picnic etc. Just let me know so we have this one page to get all the information and updates! Friday will be Raz’s usual great event with food and a live band on a donation basis!! Saturday will be a casual private event just for our class and will cost $40 per person. That fee will cover our private room with our own Bartender at the Viking, a nice buffet meal with chicken and beef choices, a potato of some kind, 2 vegies, dinner rolls, and soft drinks, and it will include set up and clean up and tear down so we dont have to do it; it will also cover tax, the gratuity, with enough left over to pay for the band!! Saturday- if you love to bake, please bring a dessert and show off your skills! Do fancy desserts?? Let’s have a bake-off! Classmates will vote for their personal favorite! Anyone have a talent you’d like to share with everyone? Let Pam know what youd like to do!! Memorial - we will have a nice display of Classmates who have passed so we can all remember and honor them! Four classmates have already offered cash donations to help cover the hall rental and I’d like to get 4 others to commit to a $50-$100 donation. Would anyone like to sponsor a keg - it’s $250 - feel free to donate any amount to go towards drink tickets, keg, etc I’d like to get an Uber driver or 2 to be on standby for us too…ya never know!! Next spring I will post a paypal link or venmo or cash app or apple pay or you can send a check. If you are in our facebook group, please go there and click on our reunion event page We had 88 people come to our 60th Birthday Celebration at the East End Club and we all had a great time!! Oh and by the way, I have $450 leftover from that party to help with this party!! 🎈UPDATE: i used that $450 as a deposit for the hall rental! Thanks in advance go out to Anne Padesky VandeMoortel for all her years of hard work organizing all our past reunions and her support and ideas and inspiration! Thanks also to Richard Krantz whose dedication on the Viking Club Board got us a nice discount on the rent! 🙌
