Description

Rena and Itai will teach their original melodies in this song circle, weaving together ancient Jewish texts with new English poetry and prayers for healing. People of all backgrounds are welcome to come sing and listen. Feel free to show up in whatever mood you happen to find yourself in. Every voice is sacred and off-key singing is welcome! We'll close with havdala, a special ritual to end Shabbat and welcome in the new week together. This event is co-sponsored by Brattleboro Area Jewish Community & Temple Israel Greenfield. Covid & Accessibility Info: We're following Brattleboro Area Jewish Community guidelines for the space--vax required, masks required inside the building. Masks encouraged outside the building as well. We will plan to be outside for this event and move indoors if there's rain. The building has a ramp.
