Description
Press release from Prince William Chamber of Commerce: June 8, 2022 The first half of the acquisition will be of a smaller office space which the administrative staff will move into. This space also contains a large open space in the back which will be available as a meeting space for large groups upon request. These changes are anticipated to take place during June and will be open to the public in July. The second half of the acquisition will be of a large warehouse of office space located next to the Donation Center. The Food Pantry will be moving into this space, creating a welcome area for families receiving our services in the front and using the warehouse as the new location for our food pantry. This move will dramatically increase the size of our food pantry and help us to uphold the dignity of the families utilizing our food pantry by providing them with more privacy as they seek assistance. The current food pantry space will be used as additional space for our Community Thrift Store. These changes are expected to take place in the late summer or early fall of 2022. If you have any questions about our expansion or would like to hear more details about our plans, please contact Jessica Root or Ryan Walker by phone at 703-659-1636 or by email at [email protected] or [email protected]. We are incredibly grateful to all of our donors, shoppers, volunteers, and supporters who have helped to make this expansion possible. We are so excited for all the possibilities this space will give us and blessed for the impact it will allow us to have on the families we serve. We hope that once our new space is open that you come and pay us a visit! This press release was produced by Prince William Chamber of Commerce. The views expressed here are the author's own.
