Here are the top stories in Glen Burnie today: In the coming weeks, Anne Arundel County is going to be hosting "Making The Best Place For All Community Summit Series" around the county. At approximately 7:30 p.m., a suspect entered the business and showed a gun to the clerks. An undetermined amount of money was stolen. (Anne Arundel County) A quick-thinking clerk at 7-Eleven tricked an attempted robber into fleeing the store. The clerk told the suspect that a cop was on the scene. (wmar2news.com) Mission BBQ will be moving into a former Pizza Hut space. The Bowling Green area is welcoming the new business to the area. Glen Burnie's finest authors Tom Clancy, Edgar Allen Poe and Francis Scott Key are just a few that have resided in this great state of ours.
