Description

Come worship and sing gospels with us at your neighborhood church, Christ the King (CTK) Community Church located on Sutter X Lyon, SF. We opened on 8/1/21 because churches are essential! We are the people who love our faith, our families, and our country. CTK is an Evangelical Reformed church. We are -- traditional! Our church -- looks like a church! We stay true to the bible and the scriptures. We rent the space from The Love Chapel of Christ; hence we hold our Sunday worships late at 5pm. C.S. Lewis who abandoned his childhood Christian faith, became an atheist, and returned to his faith later, wrote that the universe is so vast, so mysterious. Imagination and reason are not mutually exclusive. There are times when myths became facts! Lewis said that the evolution theory: the most primitive things that kept evolving and became what they are now is overly simplistic. There must be a creator who is outside of the things created. Lewis also wrote that across the world, people have about the same sense of right vs. wrong, i.e., the morality. Where do we get those values? He resorted to – God! God who imparts the sense of right or wrong on us! All Christians or new-to-faith are welcome! A church is a place for us to get to know God; to be connect to our creator, to have more appreciation for our world. A church is also a place to foster a community. Join us! (Last last event post was highjacked by bots, and took up all tickets. Hence, I make it $20/ticket. Your donation is much appreciated to cover rent, pay our musician, and supplies. Thank you!)
