Let’s reawaken our ancestral relationship to Indigo! Hi! My name is Verenice and in this workshop you will learn how to make your very own indigo VAT as well as tips on how to care and maintain your VAT. I will teach you how to make 3 Different types of indigo VAT, their ingredients, and their benefits. We will create unique patterns using Shibori techniques. By folding, tying, binding the fabric. We will be dyeing the following: 1 silk scarf (included in the cost of workshop) 2 cotton napkins (included in the cost of workshop) You can also bring your own pieces to dye- fabric acceptable: cotton, linen, wool, hemp, silk, rayon. Please bring: Rubber Gloves Face mask Pen/ pencil to take notes ****Please wear clothes for dyeing.
