Sheriff Investigates Armed Robberies At Gas Stations On Gunn Hwy

CARROLLWOOD, FL — Hillsborough County sheriff's detectives are investigating two armed gas station robberies that occurred during the early-morning hours Monday. At about 2 a.m. deputies responded to the Thornton's at Gunn Highway and West Linebaugh Avenue followed by a second robbery about 45 minutes later at the 7-Eleven at Gunn Highway and Henderson Road. Detectives believe the robberies are related. There were no injuries.
