This is the entry-level certified class in the Plant Operator / System series. This class is distinguished from the Plant Operator II by the performance of the more routine tasks and duties assigned to positions within the series including the update of operations logs and adding and mixing of treatment chemicals under the supervision of higher-level operators. Since this class is certified at the Operator I level, employees may have limited knowledge of plant operations.
