TUSCALOOSA, AL — Shelton State Community College on Tuesday announced that Anika Lodree has been hired as the new dean of college's C.A. Fredd Campus.

Prior to being named to her new role, Lodree served as director of student success at Shelton State.
Lodree holds a bachelor's degree from the Xavier University of Louisiana, a masters degree from Louisiana State University and a doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
She first began her work at Shelton State as an adjunct instructor of mathematics in 2011. In addition to her time in Tuscaloosa, she has also worked as an adjunct instructor at both the University of Alabama and Auburn University.
Lodree would eventually go on to become the Mathematics Lab Manager for the SOAR Institute at Shelton State from 2014 until 2019, when she was named director of student success.
