SARASOTA COUNTY, FL – Two people were injured in a two-alarm fire in southern Sarasota County Sunday afternoon, the Herald-Tribune reported. The fire broke out in the 5300 block of Davini Street around 2:27 p.m. Dozens of emergency personnel responded to the fire and put it out by 3 p.m., reports said. An AirMed medical helicopter flew one patient to Blake Medical Center in Bradenton, reports said. The other was brought to Sarasota Memorial Hospital by ambulance. The fire is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall and Sarasota County Sheriff's Office.
