I am finding myself needing to rehome my 2 year old male Doberman pinscher. Black and rust, tail docked, ears cropped but flopped. He is good with other dogs and people, but I would not trust him with cats, rabbits, chickens, etc. An ideal home for him would include another large breed dog, probably a female would be best although he is not fixed so that would be something to consider. He spends all day outside and comes in during the evenings where he sleeps in his crate with no issues. He is not otherwise house trained and is a known counter surfer. He can also be pretty vocal, which makes him a good alarm, but can be obnoxious in the evenings when he’s ready to go to bed or in the mornings when he’s eager to go back out. He does stay quiet throughout the night, though. This is really hard for me and I’m completely heartbroken, I would like to find him the best home possible. I’ve fallen on some hard times and I’m just not able to provide for him right now.
